Taking RYBREVANT FASPRO™ with chemotherapy
Additional medications
- Before each RYBREVANT FASPRO™ injection, your doctor will give you medicines—such as allergy medicine, medicine to reduce fever, and a steroid—to help lower the risk of certain side effects
- They may also prescribe oral and/or topical antibiotics to reduce the risk of skin-related side effects. Learn more about additional at-home care tips to help protect your skin during treatment
RYBREVANT FASPRO™ injection + chemotherapy schedule recommendation
Week 1
- Your first dose of RYBREVANT FASPRO™ will be given over the course of ~5 minutes (this is how long the injection takes; total time of care team visit varies)
- You will be given 2 types of chemotherapy (carboplatin + pemetrexed)
Weeks 2 & 3
- Your second and third doses of RYBREVANT FASPRO™ will be given during Week 2 and Week 3
- No chemotherapy is given during Week 2 and Week 3
Week 4
- Your fourth dose of RYBREVANT FASPRO™ will be given during Week 4
- Your chemotherapy treatment remains the same
- After Week 4, you will receive RYBREVANT FASPRO™ every 3 weeks
Weeks 5 & 6
- You will not get RYBREVANT FASPRO™ injections or chemotherapy infusions during Week 5 and Week 6
Week 7 & Week 10
- RYBREVANT FASPRO™ dosage is adjusted on Week 7
- Your chemotherapy treatment remains the same
Week 13 and on
- Starting on Week 13 and moving forward, you will only be given 1 type of chemotherapy (pemetrexed)
- You will continue receiving RYBREVANT FASPRO™ every 3 weeks
- Your doctor will monitor your progress and adjust treatment accordingly until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity
RYBREVANT® is an infusion given into your vein through an intravenous (IV) line
How you'll get the
RYBREVANT® infusion
You’ll be given infusions at your doctor’s office or an infusion center.
Your care team will also give you additional medications and take time to make sure you're doing well before you leave your visit.

- You will be given 2 types of chemotherapy (carboplatin + pemetrexed)
- Your first RYBREVANT® infusion may take 4 to 6 hours on Day 1 and 6 to 8 hours on Day 2
Weeks 2 & 3
- No chemotherapy is given during Week 2 and Week 3
- RYBREVANT® infusions may take about 3 to 4 hours
Week 4
- Your chemotherapy treatment remains the same
- After Week 4, you will receive infusions every 3 weeks
- RYBREVANT® infusions will take about 2 hours, starting on Week 4 and for the rest of treatment
Weeks 5 & 6
- You will not get RYBREVANT® or chemotherapy infusions during Week 5 and Week 6
Week 7 & Week 10
- RYBREVANT® dosage is adjusted on Week 7
- Your chemotherapy treatment remains the same
Week 13 and on
- Starting on Week 13 and moving forward, you will only be given 1 type of chemotherapy (pemetrexed)
